Wyfe of Bath Cheese

Wyfe of Bath Cheese

Succulent, nutty and creamy. This semi-hard cheese is redolent of buttercups and summer meadows.  It has a soft, light caramel colour and gets its shape by placing the curd in cloth-lined baskets.  Wyfe of Bath takes its name from Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales and, like the tale, when you cut into a Wyfe of Bath you will get a taste old England. This cheese can be purchased as a full round (approx 2.4 kilos), half round (approx. 1.2 kilos), or in segments and is vegetarian.

Much Appreciated

Having tried, and enjoyed, Wyfe Of Bath and Bath Soft Cheese before; I decided to send Wyfe Of Bath as a Christmas gift to a cheese loving friend. I met him two nights ago and he immediately referred to "that wonderful cheese" and "where can I buy some more?" Needless to say I have referred him to the website and he has ordered some more cheese. A new customer who greatly appreciated his cheesy Christmas present

Packing

As ever your cheese is very good, however the packing you send it in is not acceptable, it is amateur to say the least, a small cardboard box & totally inadequate refrigeration, you really could do a lot better, a discounting way to receive what is a very good product

Fromage par excellence

Bath cheeses were bought as Christmas gifts for two households, other than my own. Both responded effusively over the quality of the cheeses and their accompaniments. In fact, the comments could not have been more enthusiastic and appreciative.
