A classic blue veined cheese made from the milk of our own cows. Ripened for eight to ten weeks to give a creamy blue veined taste. In 2014 it was awarded Supreme Champion at the World Cheese Awards. Our Bath Blue is available in segments (200g)

Bath Blue follows a traditional Stilton recipe but unlike the majority of Stiltons, with a few notable exceptions, each stage is done entirely by hand. They are made in very small batches using a vat which is around half the size of even the smallest Stilton maker and then in individual buckets. 

This Bath Blue Cheese is 1 of 6 British cheeses still being made today, that won the World Cheese Awards!

Consistently Creamy Delicious Blue

I buy this as I know this is it ready to put on my crackers, for that magic burst of flavour.

The Best

I am not usually a fan of blue cheeses finding most of them to be a bit astringent. This one is completely different. It is a beautiful light cheese that reminds me of a brie in some ways but with a much more complex taste. I tend to pick mine up at the Borough Market in London where it stands out against very heavy opposition on the cheese front.
Great in salads or on its own. I made a pie some years ago with it but can't remember for the life of me what else I put it in it.
