So, we have returned with many a rosette from the Global Cheese Awards this year. Our wedding cake (as seen below) won Silver, as did our Bath Soft in the ‘best presented cheese’ category (all that individual hand wrapping and waxing pays off!).
We also won bronze awards for our Blue and Soft. However, the most noteworthy win was Gold for our new Merry Wyfe in the Organic category. We are chuffed to bits! Attila, our R&D lead has been working hard perfecting the cheese (which is pressed and washed in cider made by Graham Padfield on the farm)- and we certainly think that the judges have excellent taste.
Congratulations to all of our cheesemakers… but the hardwork never stops- the rosettes will watch over them as they seal our batch of Blue this week. Preparations for the Christmas rush are well underway and production is steaming along.
