Enjoy your salads and crudites more with this creamy and indulgent Bath Blue Cheese Dressing recipe.
200g Bath Blue Cheese, crumbled
50ml – 100ml whole milk
50g -100g good-quality mayonnaise
1 tsp dijon mustard
1/2 tsp white wine vinegar
Mix 3/4 of the crumbled blue cheese with 50ml of milk, 50g of mayonnaise, the dijon and the vinegar. Use two forks or even a potato masher to blend the cheese into the milk mixture.
Depending on the texture and your preference, add a little bit more milk or mayonnaise to get the consistency that you prefer – milk loosens, mayonnaise thickens.
Add the remaining crumbled blue cheese and blend with the dressing.
Season with freshly cracked black pepper. Great on a salad of green beans, new potatoes and hard-boiled egg or with fiery, finger-licking chicken wings.
