Fancy a stroll?

It is such beautiful weather and it is imperative to take advantage of the glorious sunshine!

Why not take a walk from Saltford to Bath Soft Cheese (and maybe even beyond) or the other way around!

Saltford is home to three pubs- the Jolly Sailor is by a lock and a weir, the Bird in Hand is directly on the cycle path and the Riverside is, well, on the river side! So start there- or end there.

If you stroll down by the river in Saltford you will come across the historic mill and potentially some wet-suit clad kayakers if you are lucky!

There are plenty of shaded resting places down by the river in Saltford- so take the time to enjoy the scenery.

Wend your way up through our farm. If you set off early in the morning you can catch sight of lots of rabbits as you walk up, and be sure to say hello to the cows if you see them.

If you feel like conquering the heights of Kelston Round Hill to get a fantastic vista then it is just a further 30 minutes from our farm. It is well worth the walk. And of course, stop in at our cafe for refreshments and refueling! An ice-cream made from the milk of our cows adds second-to-none propulsion to a steady walk!
